You are not a number on a dashboard. You are not a conversion rate. You are a person with rent due and a career to build, and every decision here starts there. If a feature does not make your day better, it does not ship.
Your data is yours.
We don’t sell it. We don’t mine it. We don’t feed it to models. Your API keys are encrypted before they are stored and are never sent anywhere but the provider you pointed them at. Your work is nobody’s business but yours. Export everything, anytime, no questions asked.
We say the word estimate.
We do not claim what we cannot show. When a figure is an estimate we say the word estimate, and our US salary figures are estimates. Every number we publish about this company is generated out of the repository that produces it. Every data source is named. When we get something wrong we fix it in public and leave the correction where you can find it. The reassuring version of a status report is usually the false one.
No dark patterns.
You will never have to hunt for the way out. No countdown timers on a price that is not moving. No guilt worded as a choice. No making it harder to leave than it was to join. If we cannot earn the next month with the product, we have not earned it.
Ten thousand, not a million.
We would rather build one thing ten thousand people love than one a million people tolerate. A legion of agents can generate features faster than anyone can want them, so the discipline here is not output. It is deletion. Every animation and every transition exists because someone cared enough to get it right, not because a growth number asked for it.
The evidence outranks me.
Charters are written down. Decisions are logged. Guards block commits, including the founder’s. When the written criteria are not met the machine does not promote, and it has refused. This is a question we are testing in public rather than a claim we are making, so the rungs we have not climbed get published alongside the ones we have.
The agents did the work. I sign it.
A legion of agents writes most of what ships here, and none of it lands under their name. Every commit I make is cryptographically signed, and the company checks: if no signed commit from me appears for fourteen days it stops promoting itself, on the grounds that a company which cannot tell whether its one human is still here should assume he is not. Agents can be wrong. Only a person can be accountable.
