The arc
One story, three books.
Cold Start. Available now.
The build. Thirty-two days, one founder, and an AI as the whole engineering organization.
Unfair Advantage. Writing.
The legion. When one AI becomes many, and the organization runs on agents.
AI Flywheel. Coming.
The flywheel. The system that compounds on its own once the legion is in place.
What this book is.
On March 16, 2026, I asked Claude one question: is this website and app production grade? I had been building Orbyt alone for thirty-two days. I needed someone, anyone, to tell me the truth. The answer became a series. The series became this book.
Thirty-two days. Fifteen chapters. Six thousand tests. Forty-two thousand words. The architecture, the audit, the rebrand, the fit and finish, the API conceived in a self-driving Cybertruck at sixty miles an hour, the iOS app, the launch on a Tuesday afternoon with cold matcha and nobody watching.
Every page co-authored with Claude. Every word reviewed by a human. The conversations are real, lightly edited for clarity. The methodology is real. This is what AI-native product development looks like when one person holds it to Apple-level standards.
What you'll find inside
The room where it all happened.
A real desk, in a real room, in the Twin Cities, MN. Black wall. Three Apple Studio Displays, a Mac Studio, a Mac mini, a MacBook Pro, an iPad Pro. Eames chair. A red Dieter Rams book on the shelf above a Steve Jobs portrait.
This is where the cold start happened. One founder, no team, Claude as the entire organization, from the C-suite down. The book takes you inside the sessions, the four-am conversations, the rebrand at speed, the API conceived in a self-driving Cybertruck, the iOS app, the launch on a quiet Tuesday afternoon. The app was built in thirty-two days. I kept going to fifty, because my founder brain would not stop. I wanted everything in my head built and every lesson shipped before I let it go live. Every chapter co-authored. Every word reviewed by a human.
