Trust Center.
How Orbyt Intelligence earns customer trust. Methodology transparency, Bloomberg-grade data provenance, honest limitations on every engine, transparent pricing, and the security and reliability practices we follow today. No claims we can't back up.
Orbyt is a solo-founder product today. We aren't SOC 2 certified. We don't publish a contractual SLA. There's no cash bug-bounty program. The things we'd normally put in a Trust Center for a procurement review aren't here yet, because we'd rather under-promise than overcommit. What is here: methodology transparency, Bloomberg-grade provenance on every data point, published pricing, honest engine limitations, and the security and reliability practices we're actually following. When formal certifications or contractual SLAs land, this page changes with them.
The six pillars.
Trust is built one document at a time. Here's where Orbyt invests today.
Why trust matters here.
Compensation data is one of the highest-stakes data domains. Engineers cite Orbyt's numbers in salary negotiations. Comp teams build pay bands against them. Newsrooms quote them. AI agents recommend career decisions based on them. A wrong number: or a service that goes down at the moment someone needs it: changes a real person's life.
That's why we're obsessive about three things: and why we won't inflate claims we can't defend:
- Honest methodology. Every data point ships with a sample size, a confidence interval, a methodology version, and a stable
data_point_idyou can resolve back to its sources via /lineage. When sources conflict, we flagdisagreement_flag: trueinstead of silently picking a winner. - Operational discipline. Engineering practices appropriate to a solo-founder product running on SOC 2-certified infrastructure. No padded uptime claims, no manufactured certifications. When a formal SLA is published, it will be one we can stand behind.
- Security as a baseline.AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, restricted API keys with per-engine scopes, audit logging on administrative actions, sub-processor stack of SOC 2 Type 2 vendors. Plus the honesty to say we're not certified yet.
