Connect Orbyt to Claude Desktop

Claude Desktop supports MCP servers natively. Once connected, Claude can search your pipeline, add jobs, and suggest next actions.

Setup

1. Generate an API key in Settings > Account > API Keys (name it "Claude Desktop")
2. Open Claude Desktop's config file:

- macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/claude_desktop_config.json

- Windows: %APPDATA%\Claude\claude_desktop_config.json

1. Add Orbyt to the mcpServers section with your token
2. Restart Claude Desktop
3. Look for Orbyt in the MCP tools panel (hammer icon)

What you can ask Claude

• "Show me my job pipeline"
• "Add a Senior Engineer role at Stripe"
• "What should I follow up on?"
• "Update the Stripe job to interviewing"

Troubleshooting

• Orbyt not showing: Check that the config file is valid JSON and restart Claude Desktop
• 403 errors: Confirm your plan is Ultra
• 429 errors: You hit the rate limit. Wait a minute and retry.
